Stanley Ladies v Lancaster City Ladies
In what is the penultimate game in Stanley Ladies' season, the girls take on Lancaster City at home on Sunday 16th March 2008. The game will take place at Wilsons Sports Fields in Accrington kick-off at 2pm.
Lancaster City are in their first season in the LFA Girls League Division Two. They ply their trade at the Giant Axe Stadium and in this season's previous City v Stanley encounter Lancaster ran out 5-4 winners in what was a hotly contested game.
In what has been a very close season in the league, Lancaster City are currently in 7th position in the League Two table, three points and two places behind Stanley in 5th. The game itself is set to be a very tight affair with both sides vying the all-important 4th position in the league table.

Stanley Ladies v Manchester Vixens
Accrington Stanley Ladies are looking forward to their first pre-season friendly of the new season on Sunday 17th June, taking place at Highams pitches in Accrington kick-off at 1pm against Cheshire & Manchester League Division Two side Manchester Vixens.
Like Stanley, the Vixens only joined the League last year after being together since 2005. The Cheshire & Manchester League system is a notoriously hard league to compete in and the Vixens struggled to compete with the likes of Vauxhall Ladies and Winston Athletic losing 17-0 and 29-0 respectively.
Stanley also found it tough towards the beginning of the season losing to Euxton Girls 17-0 and Preston Rangers 10-0. Although, the turnaround for Stanley after the Christmas period was more dominant than the Vixens with Stanley beating Carleton 1-0 in their third to last game to get their first 3 points, the Vixens did not gain a point throughout the season but saying that, like Stanley, they have a great team spirit, which next season they are hoping to transfer into wins.
